STORING CARROTS IN REFRIGERATOR
I being a housewife,find it difficult to store some of the veggies fresh.One of them is carrot.So,to keep your carrots fully fresh in refrigerator,you must firstly wash them thoroughly.After that,place them in container and pour water inside the container to a level where carrots are fully dipped in and close the lid of container ,remember not close the lid tightly,so that there is a passage of air in the box.Keep changing the water in every two days.This will keep your carrots fresh till a week to 10 days.
EATING CARROTS IN EXCESS
Eating anything in a limit,leads to its exact benefits,but eating in excess may lead to its disadvantages also.Same is the case with carrots even.Eating carrots in limit,gives your body a proper amount of Vitamin A,which helps to keep your eyes functioning in good condition.But ,a person with a week eye sight,cannot regain its sight by just eating carrots.Its just a myth.In return,eating carrot in excess,may induce your body with extra beta-keratin(red –orange pigment found in plants and fruits),due to which your skin colour also starts to turn in pale yellow orangish colour.
