Growth Of Baby
The height of your baby in the starting of 4th month(13th week) will be 8-9 cm.By the end of this month(16th week)it will be 12-13cm.Talking about the weight,the baby’s weight at the starting of this month(13th week) will be 25-28 gms.By the end of this month(16th week) the weight will increase by 90-100 gms.The weight of your baby during this month is going to increase tremendously.
By this time,Baby will be able to keep his head straight because his spines and neck muscles will be strong enough to give support to head and help baby to keep his head straight and steady.
As facial muscles start working,the baby will be able to give sad,happy,naughty,serious,shocking expressions.
The baby starts reacting to the outside world’s noise,music,light,dark and also the mood of her mother,but this movement and reactions can be felt from the 5th month of pregnancy.
Hair follicles are developed in the skin and a layer of hair will be developed which will provide protection to the baby’s skin.
Skin of the baby will be very thin paper like from which veins will be clearly visible.
Your baby’s transformation from Alien baby to human baby will start from here,as your baby will now look like a human baby.His eyes will come closer to nose and ears will also take their place.In short,all the facial organs will set in their places.
Eyes will be still closed but outside light and darkness can be felt by the baby.
Vocal cord formation will also start and by the end of this month,hearing sensation of baby will also work.
Bones of baby will be at their position and become strong by the time.
Enzymes for digestion of food will also start secreting.Stool Production will be also there,but it will not come out into amniotic fluid.
While keeping hand on stomach,the baby can be slightly felt,but the clear feeling can be felt from the fifth month.
Slight baby movements can be felt but you may or you may not notice them.Most of the time of baby is spend by sucking his thumb and having food via placenta.
Symptoms Or Changes During Fourth Month of Pregnancy
As told before also, to have all the symptoms or having no symptoms,is a big problem.Symptoms are just the way your body reacts to your pregnancy harmones.So,need not to worry about the way your body reacts to your pregnancy.It may react or it may not.
By the starting or middle of the fourth month,the problem of morning sickness will vanish off or may reduce to a extreme level.You will feel more energetic and active.
Heart burn and indigestion like problems will be still there,through which you may have to deal with during your whole pregnancy.
Some mothers may experience the problem of swelling on their feet,which is nothing to worry about.It generally happens to the ladies during 2nd or 3rd trimester.
There will be increase in your hunger because your body is able to adjust with the hormonal changes and needs more nutrition for the baby growth.Make sure whenever you eat anything,it should be healthy and nutritious.
Blood from nose or bleeding nose may be other symptoms as the body produces estrogen,due to which sometimes swelling on nose or bleeding may occur,but nothing to worry.If it occurs more often or mostly,you may consult your doctor.
Problem like piles may also be there due to regular constipation.
Tips For A Healthy Baby And Pregnancy
As till now,you get rid off the problem of mood swings,you must now take care of your diet very well.For this,protein is very essential for body so cereals,fruits and veggies should be included along with Iron,Calcium,Fiber and Vitamin Zinc.Saffron milk can also be taken according to the season.Dry fruits must be included along with butter(Ghee).Drinking Plenty of water is must to avoid constipation.Light exercises,yoga,morning walk should be included in your daily routine.A 10 Min sun exposure of the rising sun should be taken to deficiency of Vitamin D.
Spend good time with your family,friends and loved ones.
One important thing you have to keep in mind is to be active as much as you can.Being active gives you and your baby the benefit of being happy and healthy.Don’t lay down unnecessarily.Being lazy may become problematic at the time of delivery.Eat healthy,stay happy.
Comparing your pregnancy with other women’s pregnancy is other important thing,which a would be mother should always avoid.Every female reacts to the pregnancy hormones in a different way.If you have extra changes or no changes in your body,that doesn’t mean, you are not going through a healthy pregnancy.Every pregnancy is different in its own way,so every mother should enjoy it every day.
